A poem

Victor Yin
Sep 6, 2022

Let me spend my summers on trains
watching the countryside go by
Let me cross brick bridges
and then walk underneath them
Hold my hand as we walk this evening
in a strangely familiar place
where the air is just thick enough to keep us warm
For now, let the pressure of home
evaporate from our skin
like sweat in the breeze
I miss you already.
